John Laub

John graduated in 2001 from ITT Technical Institute in Portland and began his career as a drafter and survey technician at i.e. Engineering in 2005. John brought valuable construction and field experience he gained in his years prior to working for i.e. Engineering which help him excel at field inspections, structural drafting and civil drafting. When i.e. Engineering relocated their offices into an old funeral home in historic downtown Roseburg, John successfully led the building’s remodel which meets historical preservation guidelines for historic buildings. John specializes in property mapping, wetland delineation mapping, drafting conceptual designs, and drafting construction details. John’s abilities to design and think outside the drafting lines can be seen in his layout design of Micelli Park in Roseburg and in his idea for the stainless steel medallions embedded in the sidewalks of downtown Roseburg. Drafter by day, John’s true creative talents shine in his wood art which he creates during his time away from the office.
