This commercial redevelopment project located on one of the busiest intersections in Roseburg involved the removal of three aging buildings and the construction of a new Walgreens Pharmacy. This project included a new parking lot and storm drain system, new site utilities, adjacent offsite roadway improvements, various utility pole relocations, and a re-plat to consolidate various parcels and boundary lines. Demolition, site clearing, grubbing, grading, drainage, utility design, loading dock (receiving area) design, ingress/egress design and ADA accessibility were all required for this project. Adherence to Walgreens-specific site design was a requirement during the design of this project. As with all projects, our intent was to interpret and satisfy these client site requirements while simultaneously meeting the conditions of the local governing agencies and the special physical circumstances presented by the site.
